BURN LIKE A ROARING FIRE

 

O mind

Contemplate deeply the impermanent nature of this body

 

So many bodies are so many bubbles

    appearing and disappearing

        in the froth and foam of Life's ocean waves

 

Throw yourself passionately

    intensely

        into the indescribable experience

        of your own changeless nature

 

Knowing that death stalks you

    like a hungry lion

        burn like a roaring fire with the desire

        to abide permanently in THAT
