Dear All,
Purusha here is not related to gender in particular but to the
various qualities that should be present in a man like
bravery,patience,selflessness etc.
Amma also says that although god cannot be categorised into a man
or woman but if we still do then god is a man because he has all
those qualities present.
In comparison to god, every individual is a woman even if he has a
male body because nobody can equate him.
To attain that eternal purusha, Sw.Ramakrishna Paramhansa also
considered himself as a woman and therefore he used to dress like
that.

Please tell about Amma asking male devotees to don sarees.
