Namaste to my darling sisters and brothers!!
i want to wish all of you darling children a
beautiful, blessed Christmas....and a wonderful
New Year in 2001...Let's hope that it will be
much better than the last one...which was very
challenging for me, and i think, most of Amma's
children....
when i saw Steve Fleischer, (Amma's lawyer
devotee from, i think, the Bay area) at the
Seattle retreat this year...i talked with him a
little...he had given this wonderful satsang last
January, when he got back from Amritapuri, and
his words had comforted me very much...knowing
that i wasn't alone in this strange and
challenging year...Prasannan Herke had told me in
1999 that from Jan 2000 until Dec 23 (today!!!!)
i must be very careful, due to a Jup/Mars period
i was to be going thru...and the challenges
presented by that would be remedied at least
partially, he said by observing Tuesdays...yeah
right!...i work that day...and have to cook three
meals for my client, and do all the normal
community support worker stuff...fasting just
didn't work out too well with that...particularly
as i get migraines if i don't eat for too
long...interesting how the karma sets itself up,
so that you CAN'T do the remedies prescribed
sometimes, and thus must go thru the effects of
the transits, and periods....(although even so,
mitigated by Amma's Grace a lot).
So anyways, yes, it has been a very
challenging time....(i read that for you too,
Lalitha, it had also been a difficult time....and
several others on the list...)...and in June i
had that conversation with Steve...wherein i
thanked him from the bottom of my heart for his
wonderful, comforting satsang...(he had told us
that Amma had asked the entire Ashram to observe
Tuesdays!!!!so i wasn't alone...maybe they all
observed my Tuesdays for me!!!!....of course with
the SanRamon fire, which happened on TUESDAY
(Mars' day), June 13th, it became obvious why
Amma wanted everyone to observe
Tuesdays....especially when Sani was hanging
grumpily about in Aries, Mars' own sign...where
Sani hates to be, and is in fact
debilitated....(so if you were having a tough
couple of years back there a couple or three
years ago...you justmight be able to blame it on
grumpy old Sani...and angry young Mars!!!
Of course now, Sani is once more threatening
to invade Aries, in his retrograde towards the
borderlands...but he is in Taurus...Mother's Moon
Sign....and he is doing his wonderful work of
gazing upon us all ....thru Amma's Sade
Sati...(and our own if we have a Taurus
Moon...although Svoboda's Greatness of Saturn
says that for a Taurus Moon, Aries is the worst
sign of the three, for Sani to be in...) wherein
one's support groups are challenged and life can
be difficult....also Sani is in Amma's 8th house,
(a not very auspicious house in worldly ways
(except for sudden windfall gains...such as
inheritances..)...it's a very difficult house..
So anyways, to wander back to Steve...when i
commented on how good it was to hear that i
wasn't alone in this challenging time, he agreed,
and told me that he believed that due to Sani's
transit (he wasn't sure of the exact astrological
reason...i figured it out later...he did say it
was astrologically related tho') that if we were
to ask 100 Amma devotees at Seattle how their
year had gone (and is still going!!) 75 out of a
hundred would say: "Very Challenging and
difficult...more than usual by far!!"....
and wouldn't this all happen in 2000....as the
millenium turns slowly over for another go.....
So my dear ones, knowing all this....i ask
that Amma's blessings be particularly upon you
all, and upon all Her children, that they may
face all difficulties with unswerving faith in
our Mother, and with pure loving Devotion to
Her...which grows ever more intense as the days
go on....may we all
be blessed with Amma's Darshan in our hearts,
whenever we think to turn therein....and when we
need it, even if we forget...may She remind us,
with Her soft, Sweet, Husky voice: "Daughter,
Son, don't forget Love...don't forget Humility,
don't forget Compassion...remember that all are
My children and that when I am not there, you
must be Me for the children.....full of love,
forgiveness, and unending compassion for the
little children of this world..."
Remember that Amma always says:
"I am the You that is in You and You are the Me
that is in Me."
As Paramahansa Yogananda used to say:
"Oh my Divine Mother, it doesn't matter what
trials and tribulations you send my way...only
please never let me forget Thee!! Please never
let my Devotion for Thee diminish, but let me
dwell in Thee always." (paraphrased from so many
of that darling man's beautiful prayers and
songs)...For me He was the way bringer...he
brought Divine Mother to America, he brought
Divine Mother to my Heart...he made it possible
for Amma to find a place in my ignorant
heart....in fact as far as i know, Amma is the
very same Divine Mother which Paramahansaji used
to worship in the form of Mother Bhavatarini
Kali...Dakshineswari Kali....Sri Ramakrsna
Paramahamsa's own Beloved...
So my dears...i just want to send you all my
Divine Love....and wish you only the best...that
your eyes will never sink below those of the
Divine Mother's...that they will drink in Her
beauty for eternity...in bliss and Divine
Love....
O my darling Ones!!!
this little child
oh so humbly salutes
your beloved Selves!!!
With a tearful eye,
and a Love-filled Heart,
wherein
the Mother dances in bliss,
he makes
koti koti pranams
to you all,
Mother's darling
little Ones...
Reverently,

the sacred dust
