Om Amrtesvaryai Namah
hi all,
i apologize for the length of my past 6 emails, especially the last one. but, i wanted to give everyone something that has always strengthened my connection to Mother. every time i read 'The Mother' by Sri Aurobindo, i see and feel our Amma more and more. I begin to see, in her, more of the very qualities that are described in the book, and it reminds me again of the ineffable majesty and beauty and mystery and....TOTALITY that our Amma is. and, for all its philosophical depth and literary breadth, the book itself remains always a very personal thing...it somehow helps to make my personal communion with Amma deeper, more real, and most importantly, more natural.
i will understand if some disapprove of the posting of another Teacher's words here, but i would ask that they allow this. i find it breathtakingly poetic, and as Sri Aurobindo is very reminiscent of the ancient Vedic Rsis, this sacred work has been called by many as the Maitre Upanishad. it belongs to us all.
i have been told by a sister/friend from Amritapuri that Amma has commented favorably on it as well.
i hope it touches others' hearts as it has mine.
Joyful Holidays to you all.
