Dear Brothers Bala and Visvanath,

Thank you for adding some lovely life to our satasang at this time of great
turning. It has been inspiring to hear about Jesus in this context with Amma
and Ramakrishna. Your messages portray Jesus in a light that feels so sweet
and real with after so much...confusion...about that teacher in the west. A
lovely satsang for our list in this season.

Our son called from the Ashram last night to wish us a Merry Christmas. He
blissfully reported that he had sat very close to Amma during the Christmas
Eve program in which she talked about Jesus and Krishna being there. She
kept reminding him and the other devotees to look at the children's play
that was being presented, to no avail as they just kept gazing at Her!:) He
also said that Amma will be going on a 3 week tour of South India early in
the new year. And, of course, he assured me that Amma is still feeding young
elephant Ram daily.

As for that eclipse...well, there were all kinds of emotional explosions and
releases around my home in the wee hours of this morning and into the
morning. I think it was Kali who came down our chimney on Christmas eve!:)
We've noticed that eclipses do bring on the fireworks for us, and this was
no exception. Fortunately all has calmed down now, though someone did just
call me to tell me of her elderly father's very peaceful passage last night.

On a much lighter and not very well timed note: I kept seeing Amma's face in
a Santa Claus hat before Christmas and wanted my computer adept husband to
compose a graphic of it, but, alas, he was swamped with the end of his first
semester as a 55 year old physics grad student and student teacher. Just
wanted to convey the image this way at least. Maybe next year....

Amma blessings to all of you,

kenna/premarupa
