Subject: Divine Connections!

Dear Viswanath and other Divine Siblings!

I am sure I voice all sentiments, when I thank Viswanath profusely for
the wonderful postings recently. You have captured the most valuable and
salient points from the 'Gospel', and other books and presented them
very succinctly.
It has been my hobby (as I suspect it is your's too!), to see how these
Divine Folks cross each others' paths. Once when Swami Vivekananda was
wandering as a monk, he happened to do a 'kanya puja' (worship of the
Divine Female Child), to a seven year old girl. This is a practice
followed in many states of India, where small girls are worshipped as
the embodyment of Shakti. This seven year old grew up and became the
wife of a vice-chancellor of Benaras University. Later, she took diksha
from her husband and was known as Yashoda Ma, the Guru of Sri
Krishnaprem (Ronald Nixon). Sri Dilip Kumar Roy, a disciple of Sri
Aurobindo has written a beautiful book entitled 'Yogi Sri Krishnaprem'.
I urge all to read this book. Sri Aurobindo called Krishnaprem a rare
combination of a jnani and a bhakta.
Jai Ma!
Chandrika
